Galaxy M&E and AES - VCM upgrades the electrical system for the community

Galaxy Mechanical - Electrical Contractor partnered with AES - VCM to provide a free upgrade of the entire electrical system for 50 disadvantaged households and 9 public areas.

Galaxy Mechanical - Electrical and AES - VCM regularly organizes training programs to improve safety knowledge and skills which includes: safety in the work space, personal life development.

As part of the program "Sharing knowledge on electrical safety", on the 22nd of November 2019 in Cam Hai, Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province, Galaxy Mechanical - Electrical Joint Stock Company and AES - TKV Mong Duong Power Company Limited (AES - VCM) and the local authorities and people implemented the knowledge on electrical safety.

Galaxy M&E officials participated in repairing and upgrading the electrical system for people in Cam Hai, Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh province.

Through several fun games, the Organizing Committee had helped people get the necessary knowledge on the utilization of electricity safely as well as skills to prevent accidental incidents caused by electricity. Earlier, in the middle of November 2019, Galaxy M&E together with AES - VCM repaired and upgraded the electrical system for 50 disadvantaged households and 9 public facilities such as Health Stations, Nha Van. village, CPC, ... The entire implementation of the funding was contributed by the two sides.

In addition to the efforts of the implementation of projects on design, construction, maintenance of M&E works, community support programs are always considered by the Galaxy M&E as a key task. Mr. Do Dang Binh - Company Director said "The value we create is not only for customers, it also comes from the community’s activities, which right from the very first day, these were some of the key ethics.”

When being asked why the company decided to join hands with AES - VCM to carry out community activities, Mr. Do Dang Binh said: “AES - VCM is our long-term and close partner. The two sides always give each other the same affection and trust as a family would”.

AES - VCM is an investor of Mong Duong BOT Power Project 2. Mong Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant has a total investment of about US $ 2 billion and a capacity of 1120 MW. AES - VCM was established by 3 members: AES Corporation (USA), Posco Energy (Korea) and China Investment Corporation (China), of which AES Corporation accounts for 51%.

As the main contractor, Galaxy M&E has implemented many mechanical and electrical construction packages for “Mong Duong Thermal Power 2” Project. After the project came into operation, Glaxy Mechanical & Electrical continued to be trusted as a trustworthy service provider. The idea was to choose a mechanical and electrical maintenance service provider. Currently, the total number of engineers and technical workers regularly work there is more than 50 people.
